QA Engineer

Job description

We are looking for an QA Engineer for our client – a Scandinavian end client from the logistic industry.

• Job type: contract of employment or B2B, full-time.
• Project duration: long term.
• Location: remote working model.
• Role: this is an exciting opportunity if you are manual and automation tester with solid commercial experience, good understanding of modern application patterns and software development.
   

Responsibilities

• working in international scrum team to deliver business critical solutions in close cooperation with product owner;
• ensuring proper quality of backend (Java) and frontend (JavaScript/TypeScript) applications;
• designing, implementing and executing manual and automated test cases;
• detecting technical defects and functional issues. Follow up and assisting developers in delivering solutions;
• contributing to implementation and maintenance of test automation frameworks;
• working on integrating test automation into CI/CD.
   

Requirements

• 2+ years of solid commercial experience in testing;
• 1+ year of hands-on experience in test automation;
• ISTQB certificate is an advantage;
• strong ownership of developed product;
• openness, teamwork, logical thinking and striving to learn is a must;
• Knowledge of modern automation tools (Cucumber, JMeter, Gatling) and languages (JavaScript, Java ...);
• Knowledge of CI tools (Jenkins, Azure DevOps).
