Senior Backend Engineer (GovTech/Fintech)

Job description

We are looking for a talented and experienced Senior Backend Developer to join our team and help build our next-generation government technology GovTech and Fintech native apps using Node.js and either Snowflake or MongoDB. The Senior Developer will be responsible for developing innovative, scalable and secure backend platform architecture that meets the needs of our customers and stakeholders.

• Job type: B2B, full time.
• Project duration: 6 months.
• Location: remote.
   

Responsibilities

• creating and implementing back-end services using Node.js to support gov tech and fintech services;
• utilising Snowflake or MongoDB to store and retrieve data for the apps and services;
• creating a continuous delivery stream for API and UI deployments using pipeline;
• collaborating with product managers, designers and other stakeholders to understand their needs and requirements and to ensure that the solutions meet their expectations;
• implementing and maintaining high-quality, scalable and secure code that follows industry best practices and standards;
• working closely with the QA team to ensure that the apps and back-end services are thoroughly tested and meet the specified requirements;
• participating in code reviews and ensuring that other developers on the team adhere to coding standards and best practices;
• staying up to date with the latest technologies and tools in govtech, fintech, and continuously improving skills and knowledge.
