Senior DevOps Engineer

Job description

We are looking for a Senior DevOps Engineer for our client – a end client from the logistic industry.

• Job type: contract of employment or B2B, full time.
• Project duration: long term.
• Location: remote working model.
• Role: as a DevOps Engineer you will engage in solution architecture discussions as well as in building, testing and deploying our CI/CD pipelines. We expect this will take up to 70% of your time initially but decrease over time as development tasks grow.
   

Responsibilities

• using the right architectural patterns for a specific context such as event-based data streaming, request-response web services, file transport jobs and more;
• ensuring that relevant logs are created, are understandable, are shared with our central logging platform, and that the necessary alerts are set up;
• testing your software in terms of functionality, quality, fault tolerance, performance and scalability.
   

Requirements

• at least 5 years of work experience as an DevOps Engineer;
• knowledge of: Bash/PowerShell/Python, Java and Spring, PSSQL, Azure, Docker, Kubernetes, Nginx;
• English – B2 level.
